Download Minecraft

Download Minecraft Java Edition v1.20.4 from the official website: Minecraft v1.20.4

Install Node.js

Download and install Node.js from the official website: Node.js

Obtain your API Key

The full list of supported models is available on our Github. We recommend OpenAI

Download Mindcraft

Visit our Github here, clone or download the repository

Setup and Configuration

Rename keys.example.json to keys.json and add your API key "OPENAI_API_KEY"

Open andy.json and set your desired model "gpt-4o-mini"

Open the "Mindcraft" folder in terminal (right click > "new terminal at folder" or use "cd /path/to/your/folder") and run "npm install"

Start a Minecraft world and open it to LAN on port 55916

Return to your terminal and type "node main.js" from the installed directory

Launch & Play

Start Minecraft and enjoy your enhanced AI experience
